At Helms Chiropractic Clinic in Eugene, Oregon we look at all of our patients individually and  wholistically. We evaluate the structural, nutritional/chemical, and mental/emotional components and how they relate to the presenting symptom complex. By doing this we are able to treat the causes of the problem not just control the symptoms. It is also imperative to enlist our patients assistance in caring for their own health and recovery. Frankly the reason we get the good results we do is because we ask our patients to work with us as a team. We strive to educate our patients as to what it is that is wrong, what we are going to do to treat it and how they can be involved. Self help procedures coupled with changes in diet, activities and other life style changes are critical in making improvements occur quickly. An educated and involved patient is more in charge of their health.
